Workshop Overview
*Title: Introduction to Planetary Health in Health Professions Education*
Introduction: One definition of planetary health states that the health of humans depends on a healthy planet. Since our planet is in crisis, largely as a result of human activities, so is human health and well-being. This 2-hour online session aims to increase participant awareness of the different conceptions of Planetary Health, and how health professions education plays a major role in moving towards sustainable health care. Participants will explore solutions to reduce the health care footprint and contribute to the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
